The Choir supports the services of worship weekly at ESG from September to June. In addition, we perform concerts with orchestral accompaniment from time to time – at least twice a year. We sing repertoire in a variety of styles, from early music to contemporary compositions, gospel, and jazz. The choir consists of approximately 40 volunteers as well as paid Leads, under the leadership of Director of Music, Shawn Grenke. All of us enjoy singing together and enjoy each other’s company. We consider ourselves one of the best ‘committees’ in the church! We welcome new members who would like to challenge themselves to grow musically and vocally with us. The ability to read music is helpful as we move quickly to master our repertoire.

Practice Times: We practice on Thursday evenings from 7:15 to 9 p.m.; and gather on Sunday mornings for practice from 9:15 to 10 a.m. and to sing the service from 10:30 – 11:30.
