Helping fight food insecurity in our community
The mini pantry movement is a grassroots, crowd-sourced solution to food insecurity in our local community. Whether a need for food or a need to give, mini pantries help neighbours feed neighbours. The ESG Little Free Pantry is located outside the doors of the church at Lytton Blvd. and Duplex Avenue.
ESG Outreach Group is making an appeal to you for food donations for the pantry. As Thanksgiving approaches, it is a time to reflect on all that we are blessed with. There are many in our city however, who are finding each day a struggle to make ends meet and to find enough food for one day let alone a week’s worth. Please help us to fill the Little Free Pantry. We are most grateful for your support for this initiative.
Church volunteers fill the pantry daily with donations of items given by our community. We have an ongoing need for supplies for the pantry and welcome you to bring your donations to the church.
Please use the list below as your guide for what to contribute.
